Thank you for using Tracom. This page explains how we handle account deletion requests and how your personal data is anonymised to protect your privacy while maintaining system integrity.
Your Privacy Matters: We are committed to protecting your personal data. When you request account deletion, we remove all personally identifiable information from our systems within 30 days, in compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
When you request an account deletion, we will remove your personal details and replace them with placeholder values. This ensures that your personal data is no longer linked to the account, while still allowing us to maintain system records for legal and auditing purposes.
Example of anonymisation:
• Email: john.doe@email.com → deleted_12345@example.com
• Name: John Doe → "Deleted User"
⚠️ Cancel Subscriptions First: Before requesting account deletion, please cancel any active Tracom Premium subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel App Store or Google Play billing - failure to cancel first may result in continued charges.
If you have an active creator subscription billed directly through our platform (via Stripe), please cancel it through Tracom app settings before requesting deletion. Account deletion does not automatically cancel Stripe-processed subscriptions, and continued charges may apply if not cancelled first.
Then follow these steps to delete your account:
Log in to your account
Sign in to your Tracom account with your existing credentials.
Navigate to Settings
Go to the Settings section of the app from the profile menu.
Initiate deletion request
Select "Delete My Account". You may be asked to confirm or provide a reason for deletion.
Confirm your request
Check your email or in-app notifications for a message confirming your request has been received and processed.
Can't log in? If you are unable to log in or have difficulty using the in-app option, you may email support@tobistech.co.uk with your account details to request deletion.
During the anonymisation process, we replace or remove the following personal information:
Email & Name: Replaced with placeholder values (e.g., deleted_userID@example.com and "Deleted User")
Personal Details: Any other personally identifiable information, such as full name or bio, is overwritten or cleared
Tokens & Sessions: We revoke any authentication tokens, ensuring you can no longer access the account
Profile Data: Profile picture, bio, and any linked social account connections are removed
Result: This process effectively removes any direct connection between you and the data in our system. The record remains for auditing or analytical purposes but is no longer linked to your real-world identity.
Other Data Retained After Anonymisation: The following categories of non-personal or legally required data may be retained after your account is anonymised, for the periods indicated:
Re-identification: Once your account is anonymised, the retained data cannot reasonably be used to identify you personally. Anonymised data of this kind is not considered personal data under GDPR and UK GDPR, and therefore falls outside the scope of data subject rights (including the right to access, erasure or portability).
Some anonymised logs or aggregated data may remain on our servers to comply with legal requirements, internal reporting, or security auditing.

Important: We no longer store personally identifiable information once your account is anonymised. Any remaining data cannot be traced back to you personally.

Response Time: We aim to respond to all account deletion requests within 48 hours and complete the anonymisation process within 30 days as required by law.
Your Legal Right to Erasure (GDPR Art. 17 / UK GDPR Art. 17): Independently of the account deletion process described above, you have a legal right to request erasure of your personal data under data protection law.
