We only use non-essential cookies and tracking technologies where you have given your express consent. You may withdraw or adjust your consent at any time using the controls described in Section 4 below. Essential cookies required for the site and app to function are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working service.

Quick Summary: We use minimal tracking to improve your experience. The Tracom app primarily stores data locally on your device, with optional cloud sync. We don't sell your data or use invasive tracking.

1. Mobile App vs Website Tracking

Tracom Mobile App (iOS/Android)

Mobile apps don't use "cookies" in the traditional sense. Instead, we use:

Local device storage for your preferences

Secure tokens for authentication

Analytics SDKs to improve app performance (non-essential - only enabled with your prior consent)

Encrypted cloud storage for data sync (optional)

Tracom Website

Our website uses cookies for:

Remembering your theme preference (light/dark mode)

2. What Data We Collect & Why

🔒 Privacy First: We NEVER collect or track your actual trades, trading strategies, account balances, or any sensitive financial information for analytics purposes. Your trading data stays private.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We work with trusted partners to provide our services. Each has their own privacy policies:

In the Tracom App:

✓Data Sync: Choose local-only storage in Settings → Data

✓Notifications: Manage in Settings → Notifications

✓Account Deletion: Permanently delete all data in Settings → Account

On the Website:

✓Cookies: Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies

✓Do Not Track: We aim to respect browser privacy preference signals where technically feasible; note that third-party services (such as analytics and advertising networks) may not respond to DNT headers

✓Analytics Opt-out: Use Google Analytics opt-out browser extension

Device Level:

✓iOS: Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements

Important: Disabling essential cookies/data may prevent the app from functioning properly. You can always use Tracom without analytics, but authentication is required for cloud sync and subscriptions.

5. Data Retention

Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.

Deleted Accounts: When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where legal obligations require longer retention.

Analytics Data: Pseudonymised analytics data (linked to device identifiers) may be retained for up to 2 years for service improvement.

Cookies: Website cookies expire after 1 year unless refreshed by a new visit.

6. International Users & Compliance

🇪🇺 EU/EEA Users (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your data. For cookies specifically, non-essential cookies are placed only with your prior consent - legitimate interest is not relied upon as a basis for setting non-essential cookies or tracking technologies.
